An original watercolor painting on paper titled Gateway, León by listed American painter Earl Sanborn (1890-1936). This painting depicts a group of men in dark robes and red sashes crossing under a stone archway near the Count of Castile statue in the town of León, Spain. The work is signed and titled by hand in the lower right. It is presented with an off white mat in a wood frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso, along with an artist identification label.

Condition

- matte is severely discolored; gold tone wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
