German 800 Silver Berlin Souvenir Spoon and Other 800 Silver Souvenir Spoons
Item Details
A selection of five 800 silver spoons. This includes a Barcelona style teaspoon with a coat of arms enamel design to the center. A low relief spoon is also present with a knight riding a horse to the coin-shaped bowl and cherub relief to the handle; it features an ‘EI’ hallmark in a rectangular cartouche. A Berlin souvenir teaspoon is included with a city scene to the bowl with a bear in a cartouche and the word, ‘Berlindom’. It has Berlin in relief to the handle with a crown; it features German hallmarks to the back with reichsmark, ‘800’ and maker’s hallmarks of an ‘R’ joined with an ‘S’. Another German teaspoon is present with a statue to the bowl and one more has a cut foliage pointed bowl and a branch stylized spoon. The spoons have a total approximate weight, inclusive of all materials, is 1.78 ozt.
