A hand-painted engraving on paper of The Autumn Gift engraved by J.C. Armytage and hand-painted by G. Lance. The engraving features a basket filled to overflowing with grapes, plums, peaches, raspberries, eggs, pears, an artichoke and apple. An inscription denoting the artist, title and engraver is located in the lower margins. The piece is matted in white, presented in a wooden frame with beading to the interior edge and protected by glass with a hanging wire to the verso. Hand-written on the back is ‘The Westin Plaza, AW-FA Artwork. and two rows of numbers’.

Condition

- backing paper has some tears; some waving to the paper; wear consistent with age and use.
- some wear, scratching, chipping, and denting to be expected with age and use.
