A Birmingham Silver Company silver plate tea and coffee service set. The footed set features a design with scrolled feet, double scrolled handles with scrolled acanthus leaf thumb rests and simple rounded bodies. The set includes a coffee pot, a tea pot, a creamer and a covered sugar bowl. The piece bear the makers marks on the base with ‘Silver on Copper.’ These are presented with a Poole Silver Company rectangular waiters tray with gadrooned rim and an engraved scroll design in the center.
