An oil painting on canvas board by a Marie Severe. This serene landscape depicts a path cutting through a landscape of high hills and mountains in the distance with green grass, trees, and flowering shrubs. A deer is crossing the path a little ways ahead, and the shy overhead is a clear blue. The piece is signed to the lower right corner. It is presented in a wood frame with gesso details and wire to the verso for hanging.

- several chips to gesso detail; worn frame finish; separation to the right corners of frame; surface wear.
