A hand-knotted Kazak area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of red, mustard yellow, aqua blue, white , and black. The field is patterned with hooked diamond shaped medallions. It is framed with cruciform pole, diagonal stripes, and ‘S’ hook patterned borders. Finished with double sewn edges and short fringe to either end. Unmarked.
