Power Loomed Indo-Persian Accent Rug

Item Details

An Indo-Persian power loomed wool accent rug. The rug is rendered in a palette of pale salmon, turquoise, ecru, celadon, amber and black. A diamond shaped medallion is to the center of the rug. The medallion is contained in an oval populated with sprays of floral designs and surrounded by a border containing a scrolling pattern. A floral pattern continues into the field of the rug which is framed in a main border of flowers and guard borders accented with small circles. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and hand warp ivory fringe to the ends of the rug.
