A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Bakhtiari garden panel area rug. This rug is hand-knotted in a palette of sky blue, peach, navy, rose, moss green, white, pastel pink, mint and red. The field is patterned with a grid panel design featuring willow trees, boteh, ogival mihrab arches, and various flowers. It is framed with borders of carnation meanders, daisy-like flowers, and palmettes. It is finished with overcast edges and cotton fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
