A signed lithographic print of a jester by listed New York/Massachusetts artist Umberto Romano (1905-1984). The work is in an Expressionistic style, and depicts with both gestural energetic and emotion, a jester, depicting standing with her masked and hatted heat bent to his right, with his arms crossed at the wrists, holding papers in his left hand and carrying a lute on his back. The jester’s figure is framed by draped fabric to each side. The work is signed to plate to the lower left corner and pencil-signed to the lower right corner. The piece is displayed in a cream mat.
