Webster Co. Sterling Buttonhook and Other Sterling-Handled Buttonhooks
Item Details
A collection of six buttonhooks with sterling silver handles and steel hooks. This includes one by Webster Co. in addition to one from 1909 by a Birmingham maker with ‘G&CLd’ mark, and another Birmingham hook is from 1914. Each handle features raised designs with scrolling foliate or figural motifs.
Condition
- minor surface wear including few small dents, marks, scratches, and minimal tarnishing; slight corrosion on steel components
