English Sterling-Handled Buttonhooks Featuring Adie & Lovekin, Ltd.
Item Details
A collection of five buttonhooks. The buttonhooks feature sterling silver handles with stainless steel hooks. Each handle has raised designs with scrolling foliate or figural motifs. They bear English silver marks, including those of Adie & Lovekin, Ltd. and W. J. Mayatt & Co., as well as ‘Sterling’ and ‘Steel’ markings.
Condition
- wear to polished layer at base of one buttonhook; slight rusting of steel components.
