Antique French Steamer Trunk

Item Details

An antique, circa late 19th century, dovetailed joined, painted trunk with pine-lined interior having a pale blue painted exterior fitted with raised rails on top, hinged handles to the sides, and two metal latches to the front. The trunk features a number of French handwritten and printed ephemera including a list tacked to the inside lid. The trunk is lifted up on four feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
