A power-loomed Turkish Izmir area rug. This wool blend rug has several pendants placed symmetrically over a onyx colored field. The surrounding floral vines and leaf elements and perepedil motifs populate the field in a palette of rust, sand, ivory and grey. Framing the rug are tad pole repeats along with barber pole patterned borders. The rug finishes with oversitched edges and applied fringe at each end. Labeled to the verso ‘Izmir Collection by Feizy Rugs’.
