Antique Floor Lamp With Slag Glass Shade

Item Details

An early-20th Century floor lamp. This heavy lamp features a two-piece slag glass shade with crown in striated orangey-rose slag glass. Clusters of acorns and oak leaves adorn the shade along with beaded trim outlining the pierced brass framework. The shade covers two adjustable angle sockets, each with a pull chain. The lamp rises on a thin twisted stem and ornate octagonal polished black marble base. Retains original cord and 2-prong plug.

Condition

-good to fair overall; lamp worked upon testing, some electrical tape on cord near plug
-lamp and finial are not perfectly vertical which may improve with tightening
-one section of finial is not original, end of one pull chain is missing
-some light soiling/spill to base
-lamp has moderate finish loss and wear consistent with age
