A signed 1930 first edition of Paul Robeson: Negro by Eslanda Good Robeson. Published in London by Victor Gollancz LTD, black cloth hardcover with gilt title on spine. Illustrated with plates from photographs. Inside the front endpaper has a May 20, 1930 inscription by the author executed in ink which reads, ‘For Maurice, to remind him our grand venture together – Essie’
