Black and White Photos of the Marx Brothers and a First Edition Book
Item Details
A group of three black and white promotional photos of the Marx Brothers and a 1951 first edition book, The Marx Brothers , by Kyle Crichton, Melbourne, William Heinemann LTD. One of the photos is marked ‘copr. 1933 Paramount Productions Inc.’ and features a behind the scenes image of Harpo and a production staff. Another photo is shot from above a movie set and shows Groucho Marx and an assemblage of elegantly dressed actors. The third photo is a group photo of all four Marx Brothers. On the verso is a pencil inscription, ‘Marx Brothers HPJM’.

The photos are curled and the book has some yellow on the the pages, but overall in good condition consistent with age.
