Two Telegrams to Herbert Marshall from Robert Ardrey Regarding "Thunder Rock"

A pair of telegrams, August 1940 and September 1941 to Herbert Marshall from American playwright, screenwriter and science writer, Robert Ardrey (1908-1980). The telegrams refer to Marshall’s production of Ardrey’s anti-fascist play, Thunder Rock which starred Marshall’s wife, Fredda Brilliant and Michael Redgrave. The 1941 telegram refers to the possibility of Marshall directing the ‘picture of Thunder Rock’. Marshall did produce the Boulting Brothers 1942 film version of Thunder Rock.
