A 1976 hardcover first edition of ‘Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With The Wind Letters: 1936 -1949’ edited by Richard Harwell, New York, MacMillan Publishing Co., Inc. It is inscribed on the front endpaper in ink and a small red and white gift tag is glued there as well. The inscription reads, ‘Be sure to watch out for taxis downtown. This book is in hopes that it brings you hours of reading pleasure. Bob and Chuck Atlanta Dec. 1976’. The gift card reads,
‘To Elm From Bob and Chuck’. Accompanying this book is a 1936 embossed leather edition of ‘Gone With The Wind’ published by International Collectors Library American Headquarters, New York.

Condition
The book of Mitchell’s letters is in good shape. The paper cover has some slight tears on the base and there is some foxing on the top of the pages. The copy of Gone With The Wind has been re-glued at the spine and there is deep separation at the front and back cover seams. Some leather loss at the base of the spine.
