A sterling silver service for twelve in the La Salle pattern by Dominick & Haff with additional serving pieces by Reed & Barton in the Woodwind pattern. The La Salle set features twelve dinner and salad forks, twelve teaspoons, twelve flat handle butter spreaders and twelve hollow handle table knives. The similar Woodwind pieces include a serving spoon, slotted spoon and a sugar spoon, as well as a serving fork, a hollow handle pie server, a hollow handle master butter knife and a small ladle still in original packaging. The set is housed in a hardwood box lined in red felt. Each piece is marked ‘Sterling’ to verso. The total approximate weight, exclusive of hollow handle table knives and serving pieces, is 71.570 ozt.
