Roseville Pottery "Pinecone" Vases and Jardiniere
Item Details
A collection of Roseville Potter Pinecone vases and jardiniere. The pattern was introduced in 1935 and Pinecone Modern was introduced in 1950 with mold numbers in the 400s. The pattern features singular pinecones on stems with wisps of pine needles. The group includes a pair of matching bud vases with tubular necks resting on circular brown bases with a curved pine branch and pine cone on the side. Each is die-impressed in script ‘Roseville 112-7’. The jardiniere has a raised lip, branch like handles to each side, and a tapered bulbous form. Marked to the underside in raised script ‘Roseville U.S.A. 400-4’.
