A pair of 1975 halftone prints on paper after drawings by American cartoonist Gary Patterson (b. 1941). Featured are The Broken Nail Crisis and The Lesson, each depicting a comic tennis-related scene in a palette of brown against off-white. Each image is signed in plate to the lower right, bordered in brown and titled in plate to the lower center, with a notation of ‘1975 Thought Factory, Sherman Oaks, Calif’ printed in plate to the upper left. The prints are presented unframed, wrapped in plastic against cardboard backings.
