Item Details

A Chinese three-panel coromandel lacquer folding screen. The screen features wood construction with a black lacquered ground. One side depicts a courtyard scene with multiple figures, trees, structures created in paint and incised lines. The back is also decorated with a simpler composition including bamboo. Each panel is finished with brass capped feet and metal hinges. There are no visible maker’s marks.
