A color linoleum cut titled ‘Three Women’ designed by Pablo Picasso (Spain/France, 1881 – 1973), printed in the First Edition of Pablo Picasso Linoleum Cuts Bacchanals, Women, Bulls & Bullfighters, published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. in 1962. Produced late in Picasso’s career, this colorful abstract image is rendered in black line with dark brown and lighter tan tones to create shadow, and portrays three women, waking from slumber, one sitting up in bed, one yawning, and the last opening the window curtains to let in the morning sun. The image is printed on heavy stock and is matted and presented under glass in a bronze toned wooden frame.
