A Chippendale side chair. The chair features mahogany construction with mortise and tenon joinery throughout and this Chippendale chair boasts a curvilinear crestrail with fluted ears. The pierced urn shaped backsplat is highlighted with a floral design to the center and the chair rests on spool turned front legs and square flared legs to the rear. The legs are embellished with simply turned box stretcher and the seat is rush cane.
