Asian Carved Camphor Trunk

Item Details

An Asian style hand carved camphor trunk. The hinged truck features bas-relief carvings of a battle scene with armored men on horseback yielding weapons and decorative incised leaf and floral borders. The trunk closes with brass-tone engraved medallion harp. Camphor is a natural insect repellent and lines the interior. There are no visible maker’s marks.
