Royal Doulton Miniature Character Jugs Including 'Don Quixote'
Item Details
A selection of three miniature character jugs by Royal Doulton. Featured is a vintage Don Quixote jug, depicting the title character from the book by Miguel de Cervantes. He is rendered with a white beard and helmet whose plumage is molded into a handle. The piece is inscribed near the base, marked with a logo and dated 1956. It is accompanied by John Peel and Mr. Pickwick miniature jugs, each clad in a top hat and suit jacket. They are marked with a logo to the base.
Condition
- spots of residue to base of Don Quixote mug; minor marks and faint scratches.
