Antique 1909 Boye Brand Needles and Shuttles Dispenser Cabinet
Item Details
An antique needle and shuttle metal dispenser cabinet from Boye Needle Company, dated to the early 1900s. This piece has a metal arrow attached to a wheel inside the dispenser with multiple types of sewing machines listed around the top of the dispenser. Point the arrow to the name of a sewing machine, slide open the small window on the top of the dispenser, and the shuttles and needles will appear in that window. This contains several original Boye brand needles and shuttles, still contained in the Boye’s trademark flanged tubes. Marked with patent date, ‘Jan. 26 1909.’
