A hand-knotted Persian Kerman style area rug.This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of cobalt blue, coral-red, white, light-blue, moss green, marigold, and magenta. It has a scalloped diamond shaped medallion surrounded by flowers on a cobalt blue colored field. The coral colored spandrels feature flower blossom trim and patterned of organic branches . It is framed with minor borders of leaf and calyx and sawtooth patterns and a main border of link palmettes and floral designs. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
