Cast Iron Antique Wall Sconce and Vintage "Good Luck" Trivet

A cast iron antique wall sconce and vintage trivet. The wall sconce features a scrolling foliate design with architectural elements, and is marked ‘T.D. June 1881’ to the upper arm. The trivet depicts a horseshoe and grapes among a triangle of branches and features ‘Good Luck’ along the bottom, the piece is unmarked.

Condition

- good to fair; wall sconce has rusting to the well; bent upper arm, some chipping and scratching to finish.
- attached stand to trivet is bent under strain of trivet weight and features a repair, rust, and chipping to finish; some rust to feet of trivet.
- some wear, scratching, chipping, denting, rust, and residue to be expected with age and use.
