Boote, England’ to the bottom; a small blue on white pot featuring a repeated pattern of the English countryside with sheep and a shepard, marked ‘J. Kent, Fenton, England, Ye Olde, Foley Ware’, impressed ‘James Kent, England, Classic, M/S’; a small flow blue plate, discernable markings read ‘Congo, Wilcox, Foley, England’; a Scenes After Constable small plate by W. H. Grindley, marked to the bottom and from Staffordshire England; a small ironstone plate depicting an English hunters on a grand country estate, marked ‘H. Aynsley & Co. Ltd., England’s Heritage, Est 1869, Ironstone, Made in England, Genuine Hand Engraving, Decorated Underglaze, Permanent Colors, Detergent Proof’; a pair of small plates featuring the ‘Pedlar’ and the ‘Huntsman’, marked ‘Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd., England, Trade Mark, Founded in 1835’ with blue unicorn maker mark to the bottom.
Condition
- good to fair; one decorative pitcher has a repaired spout and handle; both pitchers feature chipping to the base rims; loss of gold finish; wear consistent with age and use.
- crazing and staining throughout the large platter; crazing and discoloration throughout the flow blue “Conco” plate.
- some wear. scratching, light chipping, staining and discoloration to be expected with age and use.
