Item Details
A pair of Japanese tempura paintings on silk scrolled panels. These panels feature Japanese women with dressed hair and colorful, detailed fans and kimonos against a minimal background with natural elements. The silk panels are secured to black scrolls with gold toned caps. Both pieces are marked with characters to the lower right and left margins.
Condition
- some light chipping to paint and slight discoloration to edges of silk panels; wear consistent with age and use.
- some wear, scratching, discoloration, light chipping, and dirt to be expected with age and use.
