A hand-knotted fine Persian Zanjan area rug. This wool rug features symmetrical geometric and floral designs in shades of green, gold and brown a lozenge shaped peach field. The field is bounded by principally cream colored spandrels and surrounded by a floral sepia colored major border within minor borders displaying geometric patterns. The rug is finished with white cotton fringe to either end.
