Early Roseville "Volpato" Vases

Item Details

A grouping of two early Roseville Volpato vases. The first is white matte with a tall form having a flared mouth, fluted narrow neck, a tapered body accented with rose garlands, and a circular base. The second piece is ivory in color with a gloss glaze having leaf accents at the mouth to the shoulder, rose garlands at the shoulder, and fluted accents from the circumference to the tapered circular base. The pattern was introduced in 1922 and neither piece is marked.
