Gorham "Sovereign-Old" Sterling Handle Carving Set
Item Details
A sterling silver carving set in the Sovereign-Old pattern by Gorham. Designed by James Russel Price and first introduced in 1941, the pattern features flared handles terminating to acorn finials that protrude from an ornate scroll and shell motif. The fork and knife feature hollow sterling silver handles attached to a stainless steel blade and prongs. The handles bear a personalized engraving and are further marked ‘Gorham Sterling Handle’ while the knife blade is marked ‘Stainless’.
