A vintage bronze Société Centrale Canine French dog show medal. This obverse of this medal features a cuirassed bust with ‘PATRIA’ in block letters to the left side, and the engravers name, Bonnefond, to the right side. The reverse depicts a laurel wreath surrounding text which reads ‘SOCIÉTÉ CENTRALE CANINE PARIS 1936 2ME PRIX CLASSE OUVERTE’ (Canine Central Society Paris 1936 Second Prize Open Class). BRONZE is stamped into the rim.

Condition

- large silver tone area on the obverse in the center – appears something has reacted with the metal.
