Cloisonné Jars and Chinese Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
An assortment of cloisonné decor and porcelain tableware. Included are three tea strainers and saucers, each decorated with a geometric blue motif on a white porcelain body. They are finished with silver gilt trim and marked to the base indicating production in China. They are accompanied by a cloisonne ginger jar and trinket box, each accented with a colorful floral motif and polychrome enamel throughout. Also included is a lidded dish decorated with figural vignettes, black trim, and gilt detail.
Condition
- marks of discoloration to base of two porcelain pieces; various oxidation to cloisonné metal; wear to interior of trinket box; minor marks and faint scratches throughout.
