A circa 1970s watercolor painting on paper. The piece depicts an abstract grouping of flowers and greenery, rendered in shades of grey, purple and orange. The work is signed in paint to the lower right, appearing to read ‘Hubert G.H.’; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is double-matted in blue and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- to fair; moderate discoloration, toning and mat burn to print and matting; edge wear, scratching and scuffing to frame; tape residue to glass; tears to frame’s backing paper.
