A power-loomed Sphinx Patina wool area rug by Oriental Weavers. The rug features a herati motif pattern and incorporates a burgundy red field background with arabesques and palmettes in hues of green, cream, and beige. The main border features a carnation pattern in similar hues of brown, red, and green. There is applied fringe to either end and the rug is marked to the back, “Sphinx Oriental Weavers. Patina. 100% Wool Pile. Made in Egypt. Wool of New Zealand.”
