Large Set of Franciscan "Desert Rose" Earthenware

A large set of Franciscan Desert Rose earthenware. Included are eighty-eight pieces of cream dinnerware decorated with pink flowers and green leaves. There are eleven dinner plates, nine salad plates, nine bread and butter plates, a single plate in a different size, twelve bowls, one soup bowl, eleven small bowls, twelve cups and ten saucers. Also included are five serving bowls, a sauce boat, four platters, a creamer, and small cup. They are marked to the underside with various styles of Franciscan maker’s marks.
