An oil painting on canvas of a nude figure study completed in the manner of artist Alexander Brook (1898 – 1980). This painting depicts a nude woman seated before a pale blue background, crossing one leg while slightly twisting as she clasps her ankle with one arm. The textural painting shows evidence of an underdrawing around the form itself. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a distressed wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
