Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai accent rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a color palette of red, bright orange, peach, burgundy, forest green, cream, navy, golden yellow and black. It features a crenelated central medallion on a field patterned with ‘S’ hook motifs, lobbed flowers, and animal forms. Running the length of the field are barber pole striped columns with hooked edges. Dual color pinwheel medallions can be found at each corner. It is framed with borders of carnation meanders and sawtooth lines. Finished with overcast edges and fringe to either end.
