Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Mehriban Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Mehriban wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of terracotta, sand, mocha, sky blue-cerulean, brown-black, and ivory. The terracotta colored field begins with a diamond medallion with flower pendants, and features sprays of flowers and vase forms, along with coordinating spandrels. Framing the field is a main floral meander border with a pair of Hamadan guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a short cotton warp fringe to the ends, as well as a label to the underside.
