An East Asian style watercolor painting of bamboo. This painting depicts a gestural rendering of a bamboo forest, featuring two stalks sprouting leaves in a palette of pale green and black. To the lower right corner of the composition is painted calligraphic text and a red artist seal. The painting is presented under glass beneath a pale green linen mat in a gold tone and black wooden frame with a sawtooth bracket to the verso for hanging.
