A gouache painting on paper of an abstract composition by listed artist Gina Knee (1898 – 1982). This Expressionist style painting depicts a smattering of warm and pastel toned pigment, with various trees and flowers rendered with thin brush strokes layered over top. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- some dirt and stains on the image paper, matte is discolored; stains and dirt prevalent throughout the matte area; wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame; right side of frame is cracked all the way down and will not hold a nail; fastened with tape.
