A watercolor painting on paper by American painter and photographer Eliot Elisofon (1911-1973). This piece depicts three yellow roses, depicted in paint that appears to have been blotted or splattered onto the paper and loosely outlined to delineate form. It is signed in paint and dated ‘6.8.58’ to the lower left corner. The work is presented behind glass in a wood frame with a fabric liner that has a gold tone fillet. There is wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- paper and mat are discolored and stained; nicks and scratches around the frame.
