Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by well-listed Japanese American artist Mitsuzo Shimizu (1905 – 1986). This landscape painting depicts a river surrounded by tall green trees. The painting is signed by hand to the lower left corner and is housed in a silver tone wooden frame with a linen liner. The frame features a metal plaque reading ‘Shimizu.’

- mild discoloration to image; small mark to image surface at the lower right; mild wear to frame.
