An oil painting on canvas by well-listed Japanese American artist Mitsuzo Shimizu (1905 – 1986). This landscape painting depicts a river surrounded by tall green trees and mountains. The painting is signed by hand to the lower left corner and is housed in a gold tone wooden frame with a linen liner. The frame features a metal plaque reading ‘Shimizu.’
