Women's Vintage Chinese Silk Coat
Item Details
A women’s vintage long, black Chinese silk coat. The coat has a stand-up collar and an open front. The very full sleeves are gathered at the upper arms, and fall in poufs to the wrists. There is a horizontal welt across the chest, which continues to the back, where the fabric is gathered in pleats. The coat is not labeled.
Condition
- vintage used condition with some light surface wear and soil; small areas of deterioration to silk, including a tear near shoulder at the top of the left sleeve, a torn area near a seam, and a large torn area at the bottom of one sleeve
