Vajra translates as both “thunderbolt” and “diamond,” which implies the thunderbolt of Buddhist enlightenment as well as its indestructibility. It is the symbol of Vajrayana Buddhism, one of the three major branches of Buddhism. This brass piece features ornate details and an open design with pointed tips to each side.
