A hand-knotted Indo-Oushak carpet runner. This wool rug is rendered in variegated wool in a palette of powder blue, cocoa, rust and sand. It features several small medallions and half medallions amid star forms and palmettes over a field of sand and powder blue. Framing the field is a wide resolved border of clouded palmettes. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with wool warp fringe. Unlabeled.
